Even though 2020 is now over and 2021 is here, the world is still looking to overcome the challenges that came with Covid-19. Churches were closed for service for much of the year, restaurants could only do take out, and everyone had to wear a mask and social distance. We have all had to watch the way we live, putting a pause on a lot of societal norms.
Personally, 2020 came with a lot of changes for our family. We had to move countries, then move cities. We also welcomed a daughter into our family.
Our goal to read the Bible in One Year fell by the wayside. We just couldn’t keep up with the pace as it was hard to catch up if we fell a day or two behind. One thing we realized is that it doesn’t matter how fast you read the Bible, but that you read it.
The purpose of this website is to share our adventures with the Lord so that fellow believers may be encouraged, corrected, and taught and that everyone may believe in Jesus.
For 2021, we will try to update our blog more frequently, hopefully once a week, and continue with Bible in One Year (though it’s technically not one year anymore).
Our good friend, Daniel, has decided to take part in this ministry and will be writing articles as well. Hopefully, we will continue to encourage each other and spur each other on (Proverbs 27:17).
Have a blessed 2021 everyone!
