And Sarah said, “God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh over me.” And she said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”

Genesis 21:6-7

When we get to Genesis 21, the Lord fulfills His promise to Abraham and Sarah and Sarah gives birth to a son. She is ninety years old!

All Sarah can do after giving birth to Isaac is to laugh. She has so much joy and amazement that God delivered on His promise despite it being impossible. Even with today’s modern medicine, no one has given birth at 90.

It is so amazing when God delivers on His promises to you even though it may seem impossible. When He does, all we can do is praise Him and tell others about how great He is.

If God has promised you something, have faith and hold onto the promise. God is faithful and He will surely deliver even if it seems impossible right now.

It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise.
