There is a path before each person that seems right,
But it ends in death.
(Proverbs 16:25)
There is a desire we each have to connect.
A desire to share; a desire to be remembered.
This desire demands an action.
Some choose to connect inexcusably.
Some wait until it is necessary.
Others decline indefinitely.
One races to erase this desire, another waits for it to fade away.
One expounds on their options, another retreats to what they know.
And this desire? It still demands an action.
One then chooses to question. Who am I?
Another chooses to search, to try new things.
Others still refuse to love. It’s all for nothing.
But there are those who choose love.
There is an option we each have to desire. That option is called love.
The option to hold dear; to avail ourselves.
Dear, love demands action.
Some have chosen to love inexcusably.
Some wait until it is necessary.
Others still, decline indefinitely.
Some are troubled, and so find it a challenge to love.
Some are rejected and are uncertain of being loved.
And love? It still demands action.
One then chooses to ignore the question, Who am I?
Another chooses to neglect their search in trying new things.
Others refuse to remember love, and do it all for nothing.
There are some, however, who do remember love.
There is an offer we each have to love.
This is an offer to believe.
This offer too, demands an action.
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
